Position: Project Manager
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 3-6 months with possibility of extension

Project Description:
• Control project milestones, deliverables, tasks, issues and risks;
• Create and execute project plans, detects needed changes and revises plan as needed;
• Manage foreseen project risk;
• Act as Project Leader and primary interface with to business and IT units during all phases of the project(s);
• Adapt to the changing demands of projects, teams and the organization;
• Consult with the entire project team to ascertain, understand and define needs or problem areas, determine scope of investigation required, and identify solutions;
• Create and execute project plans, detect needed changes and revise plan as needed;
• Manage regular and timely reporting of project progress to sponsors, stakeholders, and team members;
• Update and publish project schedules, artifacts, and information in accordance with department policy;
• Manage changes to the project without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits;
• Exhibit strong organizational, prioritization, tactical and strategic thinking skills;
• Coordinate communication and facilitation of core team, steering, leadership and other needed meetings with project teams;
• Demonstrate a well-informed understanding of technical and service concepts, including the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
