Job Function :-IT Professional / DEVELOPER / Java/J2EE 

This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical and operationally complex high performance product that also interacts with several of mission critical products in sabre. That will help the selected candidate to work on high-performing products as well expose opportunity to other products and enable the candidate to grow in their career.

The selected candidate will be expected to lead and mentor other developers on the team and provide technical guidance to team working in association with other senior team members and the product architect. The candidate will be a highly motivated individual and a self-starter, able to work on complex scenarios with minimal supervision and guidance.

The candidate must have excellent skills with C++ in Linux based environment. It is highly desired for the candidate to have experience in standard library, boost and XML.
The candidate must have experience in Unix shell scripting languages (Perl, Python,..etc)
The candidate will also be well versed with object oriented programming, design patterns.
The candidate will take on-call responsibility duties on a rotation basis.
The ideal candidate will also have experience working in airline industry for shopping and pricing products.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs and codes critical system components in accordance with established coding standards and guidelines
Creates new ideas in order to improve application performance and stability
Mentors and guides junior team members
Works collaboratively with team across geographical locations
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Proactively understands business domain knowledge.
Effectively works in interaction with other Developers, QA and business analysts.
Must be able to act quickly under pressure to investigate and resolve real-time issues.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have skills:
Good knowledge of C++ development in Linux environment.
Good Knowledge of Boost C++ Library
Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
*Good knowledge of Design Patterns.
*Experience in online transaction processing systems.
Good communication and team working skills

Nice to have skills:
*good knowledge of Perl and Unix shell scripting.
*Bachelors degree in computer science.
