Macys is part of the Cincinnati-based Federated Department Stores, and is the leading department store with
over 160 locations in the west, which include full-line department stores, focused men's, women's and home
stores, and furniture galleries. Closely integrated with the stores is the macys.com e-commerce site.
Project Description: E-commerce & Web Analytics Implementation: Macys operates general merchandise
stores in the United States. The company distributes its merchandise through a network of distribution centers,
as well as third parties and direct shipping from vendors. It provides general merchandise through its Store,
Website and mobile application- macys.com.
Responsibilities:
Communicated with the stakeholders to understand the scope of the project, gathered and documented
the requirements.
Interviewed the SME’s and carefully recorded the requirements by asking detailed questions and
documented all the requirements so that they could be understood by both business people and
technical teams.
Created the user requirement specifications and helped convert them to functional requirements,
business case and glossary.
Identified and defined actors, and grouped them into UML Use-Case, Activity and Sequence diagrams in
MS Visio.
Handle two different scrum teams working on a common set of requirements for the next-generation
UI.
Designed and developed RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Fraud Detection Reports in OBIEE
using data from different database for Customer Care Center department
Conducted User Acceptance Testing by assisting with Test cases and plans.
