Responsibilities/Deliverables: 
Planning and conducting user research studies and activities such as goal setting, moderator guides, usability testing, field interviews, etc. 
Analysis, report-writing and presentation of research results 
Responsible for planning research techniques that adhere the Retail User Experience strategy, used to guide all UX decisions for our Retail applications 
Collaborate with other UX resources to deliver the optimal research solution based on requirements 
Expert understanding of UX methodology and best practices, with the ability to connect them to business, technical and product strategy. 
Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing demands 

Qualifications: 
Online portfolio required for submission must include research deliverables 
1+ years of experience conducting qualitative user experience research 
3+ years experience in the user experience industry 
Experience moderating usability tests in a field setting 
Experience in other research methods such as focus groups, contextual inquiry, ethnography, etc. 
Experience working on website, tablet applications and other touch-based interfaces 
Travel up to 40% across the US-Must be flexible with traveling. 

Preferred Qualifications 
Experience in eCommerce 
Corporate environment background 
Experience in application/software design 
BA in Communications, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction or related fields

Bonus Qualifications 
Experience with remote testing methods such as UserZoom 
Axure prototyping experience 
Agile/Iterative experience
