Required Skills
Responsible for project work, L3 support and implementation of enterprise class remote computing solutions. The candidate requires both technical experience and the ability to interface with stakeholders across ranks and functions.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Lead/Participate in projects starting from the initial technical evaluation phase to providing of design and implementation plans to respective stakeholders according to project requirements.
• Respond and provide support to escalations from level 1/2 support teams.
• Responsible for the management of the global Citrix and remote access Infrastructure incidents during US hours with an element of weekend coverage for any Sev 1 / 2 escalations
• Follow established procedures and processes to ensure that Audit and Regulatory requirements are met.
• Follow company standards and procedures including security and change control.
• Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should have excellent client liaison, negotiation, planning and project management skills and is capable of working in a global environment across multiple time zones.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Citrix PS4.0/4.5, XA 6/6.5 infrastructure and Remote Access infrastructure in a large scale enterprise class environment
• Previous experience of application migrations from PS4.0 to Xenapp 6.5 in a large scale enterprise class environment
• Exposure to Citrix Xendesktop 7.x
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Netscaler technology
• Hands-on experience of application deployment via SCCM
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Web Interface and Citrix Storefront
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Edgesight
• Good technical understanding of Windows infrastructure core components and good networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Visual Basic and Powershell scripting knowledge is advantageous
• Hands on experience with Juniper SA SSL VPN appliances and other VPN technologies.
• In-depth networking knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
