Job Description

Role : Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Location : Raleigh, NC

Duration : 6 Months

Rate : $40/hr on C2H (FIX)

Job Description :

Requirements for Sr. QA Automation Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position or comparable experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge or experience working with Continuous Integration tools or processes is desired
  • Demonstrated skill in testing enterprise distributed systems is strongly desired
  • Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engineering experience with Operating Systems
  • Experience working across multiple teams including development teams in order to build and deploy Software.

Technologies for Sr. QA Automation Engineer:

  • Experience working with Open Source programming tools specifically Java
  • General scripting knowledge: Jquery, Ruby, Powershell and others is desired
  • Experience with automation frameworks, Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber etc.
  • Oracle, Web Logic ETL/Informatica are all plusses.
  • UNIX – required – general knowledge – terminal navigation – directory structures, running various commands,
  • Restful Web services – required 3 years’ experience working with Web-service
