• Minimum five years’ concentrated experience with enterprise automation, batch scheduling and file transfer technologies
• Ten or more years of technical IT experience in distributed environments
• Extensive Hands On Experience Working with Sterling B2B Integrator 5x, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Control Center, Sterling Connect Direct for Unix
• Experience supporting, administering, troubleshooting and installing/implementing TIDAL is preferred

• Experience with product implementation, including architecture and infrastructure selection and sizing for the environment, installation and configuration, working with external business partners to set up new transmissions
• Experience/Knowledge building Business Process using IBM Sterling Integrator (SI 5,0) is a big plus(++A)
• Broad knowledge and experience of file transfer protocols including Connect: Direct, FTP, SFTP
• Strong knowledge of both Windows and Unix file and directory structures, commands, command-line interfaces, and utilities/products such as Compress, PGP
• Familiarity with common distributed operating system environments (Unix, Linux, Windows) and operations in virtualized environments
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal and teamwork skills, to facilitate interactions with internal and external business customers and members of other T2 teams
• Detail orientation, to ensure accurate translation of customer requirements into technical functionality
• Strong understanding of automated scheduling, including dependencies, step sequencing and alerting on abnormal conditions
• Innovative analytical thinker – applies technical knowledge creatively to deliver best possible results, not merely satisfactory results

Responsibilities:
• Interface independently with internal and external business partners to plan, coordinate, test and implement new automation and/or file transfer operations
• Serve as technical lead on large projects, ensuring quality and continuous progress
• Troubleshoot all Automation Team software tools and processes, and interface with vendors as required to maintain/restore optimal operating conditions
• Research and promote deep exploitation of tools' capabilities and develop and deploy integration between tools where needed
• Actively share knowledge and skills with Automation Team members as well as other support teams, and grow own knowledge of other technologies in use in the environment.
• Conduct formal and informal training with teams and individuals, in areas of expertise
• Execute provisioning and day to day support. Functioning with good capacity and performance. Monitoring errors, Downtime, System monitoring alerts, Respond to applications or business owners, if problems Tuning and performance.
• Provide 24/7, 365 response, Tuning and performance, proactive issues to maintain infrastructure, troubleshooting/repair, address issues that come up from user requests, installs, configurations, etc. Diagnosing cause and fixing/problem determination responding to support center call and tickets.
• Proactively maintain infrastructure and address issues before they become problems.
• Maintain awareness of product, assimilate product into the environment, proactive monitoring of alarming parameters.
