Job Description :
PRIMARY (REQUIRED) SKILLS :
Experience developing debugging and testing C# scripts. C# will be used to perform the following activities
- Performing REST / SOA API calls to third party data providers: e.g. Twitter, Facebook, and Google Analytics.
- C# will be used in Azure Data Factory activities, PIG scripts, MapReduce jobs and other scripts.
PowerShell Scripting experience
Experience parsing JSON, XML and semi-structured data files
Hadoop Skills
Familiarity with HDFS, HCatalog and Hive
Experience developing and automating MapReduce jobs.
Experience developing, debugging and tuning Pig scripts.
HiveQL Experience
Sqoop Experience
Azure Data Factory
Experience composing, orchestrating, and monitory Data Factory activities and pipelines.
Experience defining and managing data sets within Azure Data Factory
Experience creating and managing Azure Data Factory linked services; especially Azure DB (SQL Server) and HDInsight (Hadoop Cluster).
SQL Server Relational Experience
Experience writing DDL and DML scripts
Experience with the SQL Server Data Tools Visual Studio Projects for relational databases
Experience writing, debugging, and performance tuning stored procedures and user defined functions.
Experience automating the management of table partition schemas and functions.
