Description: BCBS has various web related applications which are for Insurance subscribers, Agents,

Providers, Customer service representatives. The Purpose of this project is to create different child

Projects, second phase’s to those existing projects. The ‘Call Pop’ Project is the Internal Project of BCBS.

Customer Service Representative (CSR) can visit the ‘Call Pop’. And With Call Pop they can access claims

history, Entire personal information of subscribers, Send Tax filing information through Email or Fax and

CSRs will be able to check on subscriber’s enrollment in other functionalities likes Be Tobacco Free,

Healthy You. And upon subscriber’s request, CSRs can even update or modify personal information of

subscribers and many more functionalities.

Responsibilities:

 Analyzed the requirements and defined Technical architecture of the project.

 Designed, developed and implemented seven interfaces using TIBCO Business Works6.2.x.

 Worked with Solution Architects to identify HIPAA EDI transactions for various messages.

 Designed Technical specifications for the interfaces designed and developed.

 Experience in using messaging standards such as TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO EMS and JMS for

developing distributed applications.

 Configured SAP to utilize SAP Adapter to communicate with TIBCO.

 Implemented TIBCO Hawk rule base to monitor and test the BW engine, EMS Server, log files

and database.

 Worked extensively on 837 (Claims - Institutional and Professional), 835 (Remittance), 270/271

(eligibility check), 276/277 (claim status), Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), and Claim Attachments

(275) transactions.

 • Experienced in Jacl and shell scripts to automate the maintenance process of the WebSphere

and recovered the backed up WebSphere configuration with the scripts.

 Performing TIBCO administration and Disaster Recovery functions.

 Experience in developing rules in TIBCO Business Events and managing rule function in Decision

manager.

 Created Mulesoft ESB work Flows to validate the request and response Objects.

 Created Page Views using XML / JSON from TIBCO / Java layers to show Fund performance and

Fusion Chart analytics for comparisons.

 Configured Business Connect guidelines and schemas for HIPAA transactions and validations to be

made.

 Installed TIBCO products like TRA (Tibco Runtime Agent), Business Works, Active Database

Adapter to setup new production environment for this project and merge it to existing domain

 Used TIBCO Active Spaces to store inventory information.

 Developed various UNIX (korn shell) scripts to FTP incoming data files to Tibco Servers.

 Configured AS2 protocol in Business Connect to communicate with Trading Partners.

 Configured Web Services for Business Connect transactions to perform Routing, and 276/277

sidecar transactions.

 Expertise in using Teradata SQL Assistant and DB Visualizer Pro.
