Job Title : Domain Expert / Operations Specialist (Capital Markets)

Location : Irvine, CA / Boston, MA

Duration : 6 months Contract / Full-Time

Job Description: 

Client is looking for a Domain Expert with strong Middle Office tool with Capital markets and Asset management. 

• Expert in Transaction Management and have hands on experience in this work stream.
• Excellent knowledge & experience on all or any one of below mentioned Middle office end to end processes:
  • Transaction Management (Trade Capture, Trade Matching, Trade Settlement)
  • Reconciliation
  • Bank Loans
  • Fee Billing
  • OTC derivative
  • End client Reporting
  • Operation readiness
  • Business Architecture
  • Corporate Action
  • Collateral Management
  • Investment Record keeping
  • Acts as a link between product and technology teams to coordinate trade delivery enhancements and initiatives to meet business needs
  • Interacts with external and internal parties to resolve questions and discrepancies related to data
  • Follows procedures to ensure timeliness and accuracy of trade processing

Responsibilities :- 

• Liaise with colleagues within the Client’s Global network covering UK, Europe, USA and APAC in defining business processes and strategic approaches to meet Investment Operations outsourcing deliverables.
• Support the process understanding and documenting client requirements and their impact within Global Operating Model.
• Information/Requirements analysis using flowcharting and other methodologies.
• Review, analysis and approval of detailed requirements and related documentation
• Create SOPs, Integration Guides, walk-through materials for the specific service offering and the end-to-end data flow analysis.
• Analysis of current processes and recommends improvements where appropriate.
• Ideal that the candidate has hands-on experience on some of the globally known platforms, Reconciliation engines, Trading and Trade Support systems, Record Keeping systems etc.
• Identify gaps and discrepancies in information gathered.
• Participate in strategic project related to the middle office environment
• Contribute to problem solving resulting from JSIT/BUAT/CUAT
• Contribute to Progress reporting for Management Information.
