The IT Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of development and implementation, including design, programming, testing, and configuration. Design requirements will be provided to the vendor following an agile development methodology. Vendors must employ industry best practices for technology project management. The vendor will work as needed with the stakeholders to complete task orders. In addition, the vendor must be capable of developing systems and applications for the .net and java platforms.

The vendors guidance should assist Campus Shield's Intelligence Functions Campus Shield Data Cube will function as the intelligence umbrella for the security and protection of students and staff. Data Cube will collect, store, and analyze criminal intelligence information--while also disseminating actionable information that supports safety in and around schools. Currently has systems that collect information such as a Records Management Systems (RMS), Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) file, and the Mobile Field Reporting (MFR) system.

Integrate key intelligence systems with those already deployed in company, Campus Shield personnel will have the ability to collate, and disseminate information to improve safety and climate.
Effectively integrate data from RMS, CAD, and MFR along with data from other law enforcement agencies (including local, county. federal and state), visitor access and video surveillance records.
Integrate with the Blackboard Connect System, student records, and social media.
Data Cube will provide intelligence identifying criminal patterns or trends, suspects and criminal enterprises, and other safety issues via continuous, real-time, comprehensive predictive analysis of the collected intelligence from a variety of systems.
These data should facilitate the identification of potential threats and also lead to sharing of important information. This sharing will include fusion centers that focus on the southeast Florida region the county.
An effective system with enterprise-wide capability for facilitating response for emerging situations and provide linkages between them and other safety systems. Capable of disseminating actionable intelligence.
