Job Description :
Clear understanding of network technology for Layer 0/1/2/3 (fiber, optical/electrical transport/layer 2 switching, IP network management)
No knowledge of hardware switching technology required
Basic knowledge on configuration of optical switches/digital cross connects/router configuration required
Good listening skill as well as verbal communication skill
Basic presentation skill (power point - block diagram, visio flow, network diagrams)
Unix scripting skill required
Ability to learn new technologies without much guidance
Ability to download open source or vendor proprietary software, compile as necessary, install and test
Basic knowledge of REST API/Web services
Basic SQL knowledge (should be able to write queries, retrieve data for analysis)
Basic knowledge on SDN/NFV flows
Knowledge in JAVA preferred
Knowledge of Eclipse preferred
Should be able to work in a team
