Job Description :
Diagnose and resolve system, application software or other related problems that impact database availability
Design and maintain ETL solutions using SSIS.
Perform data migration using SSIS and other applicable tools
Work with Support Analysts and Developers on the analysis of database changes and creation of scripts for deployments.
Work with Support Analysts during deployment activities
Work with the support team to research and analyze applications data issues.
Refresh QA and Development environments for QA and Development teams.
Perform database tuning activities using different approaches such as identifying inefficient SQL, reviewing indexing strategies, database and server configurations
Create documentation as required.
Review literature and other resources in order to keep informed of new technology advances that may have a positive/negative effect on our base level support and/or development toolkit
Utilize standard company tools/procedures to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes
