Job Description-
Our client is seeking an individual to provide technical consultation to the department and asset support for the data domain. As an Architect within Information Systems, you will collaborate with other architecture disciplines (Technical, Application, Solution, Information, Business Domain) to deliver strategy/technical expertise within a single architecture discipline to project and support teams, communicating and implementing solutions consistent with applied and strategic architecture processes. You will develop feasible, comprehensive solutions that balance tradeoffs of scope, schedule and cost with established Architecture direction, principles and best practices; resolve escalated higher level exceptions; proactively monitor a single business or technical domain in order to mentor and coach project teams, and to identify potential impact and opportunities; leverage Technical Architecture best practices and methodologies to ensure resulting architectures promote business growth, optimize technology investment, and proactively prepare for business and technology change.
Our current technology stack includes all the technologies listed below. The DBA (Database Administration) Architectural background is the foundation of the work. There are two areas of focus. One is people with experience with RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) platforms, such as DB2, SQLServer, Netezza, and Sybase. The other is technologies with open source databases, like Mongo, CouchDB, Casandra, Hadoop. They can apply their past experience and then research other knowledge needed if they have this foundation.

- Experience with DB2 and BlueMix

- Administration of RDMBS Systems
- Understanding of SQLServer and Azure
- Understanding of Splunk and logging systems
