The Application Design Engineer collaborates with others to create and maintain applications to meet business needs. This role is responsible for software design and development for complex and/or large-scale business solutions, providing technical guidance and leadership for specific applications. The Senior Design Engineer may perform various roles in the development of applications, including taking a lead role on projects and providing guidance and technical leadership to project resources for specific applications. This senior role will also provide technical guidance and leadership to less experienced colleagues, analyze system problems, and recommend opportunities to improve system effectiveness and efficiency.

The Sr. Application Design Engineer will work in a client/server, business intelligence, mainframe, and/or web environment for internally built applications or vendor packaged applications. A Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or CS or the equivalent trade-off in related education and related professional work experience are required.
