Job Description :
Looking for seasoned IBM Cognos Administrator to install and configure the development, test, UAT and production environments on a Linux virtual platform.
Experience with a multi-server installation of Cognos in 10.2 or later required
Experience in the administration of Cognos 10.2 or later required
Experience in the installation and administration of Cognos 11 helpful but not required
Experience in upgrading and/or patching of the Cognos tool
Experience in configuration of the Cognos tool
Thorough understanding of the Cognos Security and experience with a successful implementation
Knowledge of Intel Virtual Server Configuration and its impacts to the tool
Knowledge of LDAP authentication methods
Thorough understanding of performance tuning for the Cognos Environment
Knowledge of running Cognos on a Linux platform
Strong Linux skills
Experience with Oracle RDBMS
Experience with implementing SSL within Cognos
Excellent communication skills and the ability to cross train team members on your knowledge
