Job Description :
Role:
Tier 3 Mainframe Operations Support with IBM z-Series specifically ESP Workload engineering technology. The role includes supporting on-location Monday through Friday, occasional planned weekend activities, and support scheduled on-call rotations after hours.
Required skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience in solving complex technical problems.
Required is experience working with ESP Workload Engineering technology with more than one of the following:
- Strong knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL)
- Experience batch job scheduling with ESP Workload Manager. Including: DS triggers, File triggers, FTP, Windows specific job types (CPU, EVENTLOG, etc)
- Experience working in a distributed environment (Windows / Linux / Unix / zOS)
- Knowledge of SAS and REXX
- Experience with ESP interfaces (ISPF/GUI)
- Experience with ESP Distributed job processing
- Installing/controlling/troubleshooting agents
