Job Description :
Develops, establishes, and enforces quality assurance standards and measures for the project following the software development lifecycle. Oversees a team comprising of QA Leads and Analysts and works closely with the QA teams. Applies proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing. Must have solid Informatics background (Data Warehouse, ETL, Control-M, SQL) of at least five years. Minimum seven years of management experience is desired.
PV Manager Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivery of EIT functional testing services for a release
Provides scope capacity estimates for resources in their functional area and manages resources
to ensure successful functional delivery
Matrixes to the Delivery Manager for the duration of the release
Aligns PV Strategy with project deliverables
Maintains Proper Resource allocations
Creates PV budget and actively maintains for compliance
Provides direction on priority and assists in resolving issues
Aids in the creation of deliverables that support Product Verification
Ensures PV Team follows appropriate EPMO and BCBSA processes
Reviews and signs off on test deliverables
Sets PV process and procedures
Manages PV Staff (FTE and Contingent)
Maintains Goals and Evaluations
Facilitates communication within IT and external customers
Fully engage Enterprise Architecture (EA), Software Engineering (SE), Project Managers (PM), Delivery Managers (DM), and other IT teams as needed
Provides initial Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for costs and hours
Manages portfolio scope and delivery and ensures appropriate visibility of projects and project status
* Deliverable: Project Estimates, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Traceability Matrix, Test Cases, Test Data and Build Assessment documentation
