Job Description :

Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of IT Lead, APO PP/DS will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and deployment of SAP SCM Production Planning solutions within the Business Transformation project. This role leads the effort for defining processes related to advanced Production Planning processes that conform to leading industry practices and are capable of delivering strategic and operational capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Design, configure, test & document processes for SAP Advanced Planning Modules to support global production planning business requirements and performance goals.
- Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP technical architecture/solution.
- Configure and develop PP/DS and SP objects to meet business needs
- Work with business areas and IT colleagues to define the overall application and technical requirements. Provides knowledge and expertise on current processes and procedures.
- Ensure the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operational requirements.
- Facilitates interactions and escalations with appropriate groups (e.g. SAP Solution teams, Global Infrastructure, etc.)
- Acts as a bridge between business team members and development team to ensure functional requirements are understood and ensure development requirements are integrated
- Identifies and helps resolve design issues, participates and provides critique for design reviews.
- Advocates recommended process design changes within their process community.
- Review all deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to ensure completeness, consistency, quality and requirement traceability.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and operational risks.
- Ensure efficient and effective processes and standards are in order to continuously improve quality and adherence to all quality management plans

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience with Production Planning (PP)
- Minimum 5 years of SAP APO configuration experience and/or knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of Production Planning process knowledge
- 10 years of project experience in a global environment
- 10 years of experience with Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Sub-contracting and Sales/Distribution processes
- Experience with Process Improvement methodologies
- Experience in workshop facilitation leading IT and cross-functional global teams
- In depth experience with end to end SAP implementations with APO (SNP, PP/DS, DP) and ECC (PP), as main modules and integration with other modules SD, FI/CO, QM, and WM
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access database tools
