Required Skills-

-Strong knowledge of Ext JS, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, AJAX, and web services (REST).

-Hands-on experience with relational databases, core Java,Spring (or JEE), and JPA preferred.

-Expected to contribute to various applications written in an Ext JS/Java stack, and help the team deliver interesting JavaScript charting solutions and well-formed UI screens and components.

-Occasional interactions with QA and Business Assistants would be required.

Job Summary:

Seeking a Software Developer with the ability and interest to design and perform hands-on development for complex technology solutions. This is an on-site position, located in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. The candidate must also be a team player capable of delivering system components to be integrated into overall application architecture.

Position requires:

• Strong knowledge of Ext JS, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, AJAX, and web services (REST).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, core Java,Spring (or JEE), and JPA preferred.
• Expected to contribute to various applications written in an Ext JS/Java stack, and help the team deliver interesting JavaScript charting solutions and well-formed UI screens and components.
• Occasional interactions with QA and Business Assistants would be required.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and develop thoughtful user interfaces written in Ext JS Produce graphs and charts using leading JavaScript libraries (such as D3 JS)
• Integrate the UI framework with RESTful interfaces written in Java Help design and tweak server-side RESTful interfaces
• Hands-on development for all projects Strong problem solving skills with an aptitude for learning and implementing emerging technologies
• Good communication and presentation skills

Specific Requirements, Skills Education:

• JavaScript Technologies: Ext JS (a minimum of two years’ experience, required), CSS, JavaScript, JQuery/AJAX and HTML/HTML5, and Json Source Control
• Working knowledge of Git required Server-side Technologies
• Experience with REST/Json APIs required.
• Core Java, Spring (or JEE), and JPA preferred Application Web Servers
• Apache Tomcat, Apache Tomee Databases
• Any RDBMS - Oracle preferred
• Knowledge of being able to use database query tools and write simple queries preferred
