Role : RM- Data Network Projects Imp Lead

Location : PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island

Duration : 6 Months

Rate : $70/hr on C2H (Max)

Job Description :

Role requires daily engagement of cross-functional team support to on/ offshore resources (~ 25+) within a network infrastructure project at a banking client site
Candidate will manage a medium to large operations and reporting offshore team and work in close collaboration with various technology teams and client stakeholders
Knowledge/ exposure of the business sensitivity of a financial institution to network related outages is highly desirable
Must be able to follow the strategic direction of senior management and act independently to make decisions that will have a major impact on day to day operations and area of responsibility
Candidate must be able to offer process improvements for better delivery of service and has a strong understanding of project SLAs
Specifically, the role requires monitoring, reporting, and resolving branch and ATM outages, various network issues, customer escalations, and Clarify queue ticket reduction. Weekend activity is within scope of role as well
Strong technical exposure/understanding of enterprise networks is highly desirable, including experience with Zenoss, EMC NCM, and ITSM
Extensive experience with change management and implementation is required. Role requires candidate to be adaptable to difficult situations and have strong problem solving skills to resolve major outages and escalations. Attention to detail is a must.

Basic Qualifications:
Leads technical implementation and testing of network components in Large Enterprise Data Center network - predominantly Cisco with Nexus platform, Cisco ISR/ASR, Cisco 650x platform, Cisco ASA/FWSM and Palo Alto devices supporting large Physical and VM server environment.
Minimum 10+ Years Networking Experience; must have led delivery of a network infrastructure project, or a large scale network operations function.
Experience with designing medium to large multitier networks is a big plus. Financial institution experience is also plus.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of Cisco routing, switching and security protocols and products.
One or more of the following certifications is required - CCIE, CCNP, CCSP (CCNP-S), CCDP.
Expertise with few of technologies like QoS, NAT, ACL, AAA, BGP, OSPF, AVPN, SSL and IPSec VPN, SNMP, NetFlow is required.
Experience and advanced insight with Nexus platform e.g. 2K/5K/7K.
Experience with few of the following is desired: F5 Big IP LTM/GTM, Cisco ACS, Cisco Wireless, F5 Firepass/APM, Zenoss, Algosec, QRadar, Palo Alto Firewalls, Gigamon.
