In summary, we are looking for a Functional Business Systems Analyst, some Technical System Analyst experience, SHAW loan system experience. Consistent or heavy previous SHAW experience is absolutely required, and ideally several years of experience with application experience. Past TD experience would be nice but not required. 

More detailed duties and responsibilities: 

This Business Systems Analyst role is for a business/technical role within the Core Banking Loan Team. This role will work in a matrixed, cross functional environment with a direct report to a Core Banking Loan Team Lead. They will be liaising with Core Banking project team members to understand functional requirements and undertake QA functional testing for the project, in line with defined bank standards. 

The assignment will require ability to work remotely and independently within the Core Banking project team to complete all assigned tasks within identified timeframes. An in depth functional knowledge of SHAW Commercial Loan application and their interdependencies is also required for this position. 
Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other technology team and line of business with organization. 

The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following tasks within the team: 
• Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models in order to complete the following: 
• Assist and review of creating SRS & SDS/PDD to ensure requirement documentation is complete 
• Plan and document High level test case scenarios for assigned application 
• Working with Test Leads and to identify the test account scenarios 
• Scheduling and execution of test case execution within QC in line with  Bank processes 
• Contribute to the development of the Core Banking Test Strategy & Test Plans through 
• Assisting to document high level in scope testing needs 
• Identification of assumptions/dependencies for in scope testing, Environment and processing needs (Batch Requirements, required applications, processing date overrides etc) 
• Back Up assistance to Core Bank Team Lead. Duties may include, but are not limited to: 
• Documenting screen changes, documenting report changes as a result of upgrade. 
• Tracking and follow up of required approval requests 
• Assisting to divide task work amongst application testers 
• Assisting to track task progress of assigned application testers 
• Conducting daily testing status calls, defect management follow up, daily reporting 
• Participation in project team meetings and leading working session meetings as needed 
• Collaborate with Core Banking team to ensure that the team is kept informed of task status and that any problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated

• Excellent communications, problem-solving and decision making skills. 
• The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Proven experience to work independently, efficiently and effectively in a fast paced remote based environment
• Should have sound documentation and communication skills 
• The ability to learn new processes and tool sets quickly
