Network Security Analyst IV Opportunity – Houston, TX!

Job Description:

Assists with the design, development and maintenance of the computer and network infrastructure. 

Required Skills:

• At least 2-3 years of experience with F5’s Big-IP and LTM.
• In-depth experience in Network Security technology architecture design, evaluation, deployment or support that addresses one or more of the following security areas:

• Firewalls
• VPN
• Authentication
• Encryption
• Vulnerability Assessment
• Penetration Analysis
• Intrusion Detection

• Expert in supporting Checkpoint/Solaris firewalls in a high-availability enterprise environment.
• Strong Checkpoint, Solaris and Cisco network skills.
• Strong networking fundamentals are required.
• Strong ADC fundamentals are required.
• Problem solving, quick learning, self-motivation, effective communication.
• Professional Degree

Application Delivery Controller (ADC) analysts implement and support ADC technologies, which include – but may not be limited to – load balancing, application proxy, SSL VPN, network firewall, and web application firewall. They will serve as interface to projects and other IT groups as it relates to ADC services. The ADC team has tight ties to Network Security, Network Infrastructure and Software Security. 

Nice to have: 
• Degree related to Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences/Information Technology. 
• Prior experience with routers, switches, firewalls and/or applications.
• Prior experience with F5’s APM, AFM and ASM modules is preferred. 
• Prior experience with Cisco’s CSS and ACE. 
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist or equivalent experience.
