Position: Tableau Developer - Data Visualization Expert

  • Where: Nasville, TN
  • Duration: 12+ mos Contract

  • Key Skills: Tableau Developer Professional edition v9.3

Client is looking for a strategic thinker, analytical, detail /result oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic. A passionate practitioner of effective data visualization.

Roles, Responsibilities, Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying and supporting Tableau dashboards
  • Experience in implementation of Tableau in a large enterprise environment
  • Expertise in the following
    • Use of Developer Professional edition v9.3
    • Tableau Server environment
    • Expert in developing efficient Tableau extracts off Oracle facts & dimension tables
    • Knowledgeable in building and educating developers in building of extracts (facts / dimensions) to join and build workbooks or other options
    • Develop efficient incremental extracts – optimal architecture
    • Expert in development of efficient workbooks and dashboards
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementation of Tableau in a large enterprise environment.
  • Tableau Server Administration - installations/ configuration , upgrades, patches, change management, performance tuning, standards/ best practices, mentoring, metadata management, etc.
