Role : Cyber- Security Administrator

Location :  WETUMPKA, Alabama

Duration : 6 Months

Job Description : 

The position calls for an intermediate level skill set (3-6 years) in the areas of Linux system administration, general cyber-security principles, related software and networking tools, and penetration/scanning/testing tools. Communication and writing skills is a must as tasks may require formal reports. .
Required skills:
- Linux system administration
- Linux CLI and bash scripting
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate key messages
- Good understanding of cyber-security concepts
- A good knowledge of scripting and CLI
Preferred skills:
- Administration and use of a SEIM
- Ability to create queries and/or regular expressions
- Security scanning and testing tools
- Experience with a SEIM is highly desired
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor
Essential functions:
- Build and administer Linux systems
- Provide security testing for applications and interpret results at an intermediate level
