2+ years’ experience in designing and developing complex ESB projects that require the participation and collaboration of cross-functional entities, using IBM Integration Bus 9 or higher, and IBM DataPower 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server; and hands on experience in using leading database products, preferably Oracle 11g
  • Prior experience in analyzing business requirements and building Use Cases and translating business requirements to clear technical specifications
  • Proven experience in working collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional teams and the ability to effectively work with organizational differences and priorities; consistently provide a clear and consistent technical vision for the project
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, negotiation, collaboration and diplomacy
  • Proven desire to continuously learn new technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of referential Databases; SQL/Oracle RDBMS
  • Clear understanding of and experience with team development best practices to include version control systems

Desired Skills: 

  • IIB Version 9+
  • Experience with Web services – Java, .NET, Rest/SOAP
  • Experience with Service registries – WSRR or other
  • Experience with ODBC/JDBC
  • Experience with automating deployments and deploying into Integration, QA and Production environments
  • Experience with WMQ/IIB performance monitoring; and troubleshooting WMQ/IIB performance issues
  • Experience with IBM Datapower XI52
  • Good understanding of functional/nonfunctional testing concepts
  • IIB Administration experience a plus
