RESPONSIBILITIES OF INFORMATION ARCHITECT:
Responsible for the creation and delivery of functional requirement/specification documents as related to an individual project or enhancement.
Create wire-frames to illustrate the initial flow, layout, navigation controls, and information relationships of the interactive design
Act as “Customer Advocate” for digital products. Identify UX trends/patterns; provide feedback to UX designer; provide usability concepts and observations on user journey and mobile interfaces.
Analyze complex processes and interfaces. Understand application data mapping from multiple sources in order to provide feedback to development team, as required.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY OF INFORMATION ARCHITECT
Advanced knowledge of user behavior and site technical organization and operations. Constant drive to stay up-to-date with digital industry trends and technologies.
Strong sense of process and the ability to innovate and conceptualize in order to translate complex concepts into visual representations.
In depth knowledge of web design and Internet technologies including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A four year college degree or combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Two to four years’ experience in an IT Business Analyst role
