Job Decription :
Knowledge: Must have broad and deep understanding of information security, demonstrated by 8+ years experience (best practices, HIPAA, ISO 27000, NIST or HITRUST standards) . Must have a broad base of knowledge in IT technologies, especially Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 & 2012, AIX, VMware ESXi, Citrix, Cisco, Nortel, Active Directory, applications, firewalls, DMZs, mobile devices. Must have hands-on experience with many enterprise-level information security systems. Examples: anti-virus, laptop encryption, email encryption, single sign-on, intrusion detection, SIEM, mobile device management. Must have operational knowledge of security vulnerability assessment tools. Applied experience implementing various security mechanisms across the systems stack: applications, databases, multi-platforms and operating systems. Should be familiar with hospital environments. Knowledge of HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules preferred Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to influence and negotiate. Ability to individually contribute to all phases of the solution development life cycle and operations (requirements, product evaluations, architecture, design, implementation (Installation, configuration), operations and support. Ability to work with vendors on difficult tier 3/4 support issues Work well and collaboratively with others, especially technology experts Strong mentoring skills. Able to successfully lead a multi-person project from start to completion. Ability to define or improve an IT-related process. Appropriately balance work on projects in parallel with supporting operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from disparate sources into an effective Security design. Strong logical and troubleshooting skills and ability to apply them during system outages and system testing.
