This role includes supporting all the functional teams, developers and business units with any PeopleSoft application and/or environment requests. Must have in-depth knowledge of multiple PeopleSoft pillars – HCM, FSCM, ELM, Portal, and Integration Broker. The position plays a critical role with the IT HR-FIN team (6 Developers and two other PS Admins) and must ensure the applications/environments are accessible, up to date, and function as expected. Responsible for applying updates and fixes to the environments, PeopleSoft upgrades, environment management and requests from the development and functional teams. At least 1.5 years of knowledge with PeopleTools 8.54, PUM, HCM 9.2, SES, Candidate Gateway.Actively and visibly seek knowledge and understanding of the operational environment, priorities and processes to support a system availability of seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Will be on rotational call-out for 24 x 7 support. No overtime but comp time to meet a 40 hour week. System availability requirements are 99%. Manages changes and negotiations. Has excellent communication skills to support the business.Resolves complex problems by interpreting dumps and system traces using knowledge of operating system internals and solid problem isolation/resolution methodologies. Ensure successful integration and compatibility of new and existing information systems by utilizing and applying APS Services Oriented Architecture standards. Recommend and implement innovative IT solutions to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate and/or provide preventative and predictive maintenance services of existing systems (PUM updates, Tax Updates, systems enhancements, preventative and corrective maintenance, query support and general customer support). Recommend maintenance, modification and/or replacement of existing IT system components as needed to ensure overall IT service reliability and performance targets are met or exceeded.Demonstrated effective communication (written and oral), negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
