Job Description:
This position can sit in either Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC.
Description/Primary Duties
We are in the early stages of a new project where we have been tasked with deploying a new product in the network visibility and awareness space. The engineers selected for this role will provide support throughout the project. This might include everything from testing in a lab environment through production deployments and ongoing support and maintenance after implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Superior customer service skills
• Strong networking background
• Strong system administration background
• Intermediate Unix/Linux experience
• Basic scripting knowledge (i.e., KSH/BASH/AWK; Linux -- PERL, Python, Ruby, etc.; Windows – PowerShell)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on VMWare experience; installing software, patching, upgrades, etc.
• Database experience
• Data Management experience
• Past experience with network visibility and awareness tools
• 2+ years in Information Security
• Bachelor s Degree preferred
