Job Description :
Experience to include administration of Azul/Sun/ JVMs,
IIS, Windows, UNIX , JBoss, Vendor Management, web applications,
reliability engineering, network engineering including wireless, server administration,
team management, customer/technical support and security. Ability to multi-task and
prioritize, filter through numerous details for root cause analysis to resolve/prevent
issues, work with vendors for resolution of product issues. Works well independently or
as part of a team. Able to explain technology to users of all experience levels. Has
developed and maintained documentation for operational functions and systems
software.
Experience with F5 and Firewalls a must. Data Center background a plus.
Must be a self-starter and takes initiative to offer advanced solutions and not just deliver the status quo
Deliverables:
Work on the various project supporting Gateway which include providing architecture design
and direction on the Ordering, Troubleshooting, and Dashboard.
Provide documentation and standards for Gateway integration into the Continuous Integration environment.
Provide as the lead for migrating the Gateway suite of applications to alternate application platforms.
Document and provide Methods of Procedures on how to migrate from the existing WebLogic infrastructure to both Tomcat and JBOSS.
