Job Discription :
Principal Responsibilities:
· Design using Cognos Dynamic cubes
· Design using Cognos TM1
· Design, develop and maintain metadata layer in Cognos Framework Manager
· Design and develop complex Cognos reports
· Design and develop mashup services
· Performance tune queries/reports
· Lead offshore developers and coordinate with onsite team
· Migrate and deploy application code to multiple environments
· Schedule and monitor production reports using Event Studio related jobs using autosys
· Available on call support for Production issues
Experience:
· Experience in Cognos Dynamic cubes or cognos TM1 highly preferred
· Minimum 3 years in COGNOS Framework Manager development experience
· Minimum 5 years in Cognos / Dashboard development experience
· Minimum 8 years of IT experience including database development experience
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Experience in Cognos Dynamic cubes or cognos TM1 highly preferred
· Dimensional Modeling experience highly preferred
· Experience using Cognos Framework Manager is a must
· Strong knowledge of Cognos Reporting Suite with10 versions is a must
· Cognos Mashup experiences preferred
· Strong SQL development background is a must
· Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
· Good written and verbal skills
The ability to multitask and work in a team environment is a must
