DESCRIPTION:
Not looking for a hardcore developer – but someone who understands the fundamentals on how asynchronous systems interact and message queues. The ideal candidate will have knowledge on XML and relational database concepts which will be used to create Altova ETL maps that will serve as the integration piece between client’s enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, JD Edwards to our proprietary software SYNC (Transaction based system) linked to our Vendor/Supplier. This entails develop mapping, transformations and load procedures to process incoming/outgoing files. Aside from system maps, and value maps, the candidate must exhibit good understanding of the business which will assist with applying business rules and data processes to ETL solutions using both standard and client-specific logic. Work as part of a team to ensure a consistent flow of information technology products and services. Will participate and led UAT and training customers and users.
This is a very heavy transaction based environment and very client centric role. Must have excellent written and communication skills and is a team player.
Having a ETL, supply chain and procurement background would be a plus.
