 currently hiring for a Sr. Dashboard Developer in an established Financial organization. The Dashboard Developer is responsible for gathering the requirements from the Command Center, integrating the different data sources, and developing the dashboards using the Appboard tool or any other similar technology
Responsibilities
Dashboard Developer works directly with all Lines of Businesses, Subject matter experts, Service Owners, Senior Technology Management, and risk and control functions on Requirements Gathering, Data Integration, Dashboard Development, Dashboard Transition to Production. You will expected to:
• Develop productive business relationships and integrate activities with the application owners of the systems the dashboard will interface with.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate and positively influence solution development and ongoing support. 
• Maintain confidentiality of information and use information appropriately. 
• Integrate multiple data sources via SQL or Restful API calls, online and ETL based as the solution requires it.
• Analyze complex business challenges and data requirements and solve these requirements by the delivery of effective reporting solutions and KPIs.
• Have solid understanding of areas such as test driven development (TDD), BDD and required working in a forward thinking environment.
• Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and current ETL processes, and reports in support of the of business requirements. This includes coding, testing datasets and the analysis of data.
• Demonstrate proven track record of developing high-volume database application and reporting as the current architecture
• Utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while following the complete SDLC of understanding the requirement to coding to releasing it into higher environments up to Production. 
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree with specialized coursework in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade data integration solution
• 5+ Experience in Business Intelligence, preferably, Appboard from Edge Technologies, Qlikview, SAP Business Objects, or any other Analytical Products for dashboard / report development
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• Should have worked on database technologies and be expected to provide frameworks and code in various technologies including Python
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, caching, multithreading, messaging and asynchronous communication
• RDBMS/SQL (esp. Oracle, preferably to include writing stored procedures) 
• RESTful web services development and integration 
• Message Brokers – WebSphere MQ
• Strong knowledge of data stores (both transactional and non-transactional), and can code in a highly concurrent environment.
• Strong ETL development experience
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations. Experience of Agile or Lean methodologies is crucial.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage work independently and is a team player
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies to ensure the early and continuous delivery of software
• Proven ability to create and execute queries, pivot tables and reports from database sources.
• Knowledge of Subversion source control
