Our client in the Western suburbs is looking for a BI Developer/Architect who can grow into a lead for a team of developers and BI analyst. BI Developer/Architect should have the ability to design custom applications on their own. You will join a team of 9 in a business causal environment. 

Design and develop analytics/reporting solutions using SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and Tableau. 

Support the SQL database, standard data layer and ETL processes. 

Including processes around maintaining data integrity and proactively identifying data issues and improvements. 

Implement necessary processes around documentation and development best practices across the group. 

Oversee and ensure ETL processes are running properly and identify areas of improvement. 

Understand schematic tables within core systems to obtain new/different pieces of data. 

Prioritize enhancements and features with pricing team 

Help construct automated process where applicable to support regular management reporting needs. 

This person must, at times, be able to deal with ambiguity and think on their feet as many answers may need to be formulated as situations develop. 

Help guide other analyst and technical support staff to ensure proper communication across groups 


Knowledge of SQL Server, integration tools such as Informatica and MuleSoft, and BI visualization tools.
