Job Description :
Minimum of 5 years of IT Development experience in Java/J2EE and SQL
Must be a strong Database developer skills including Stored Procedures for Oracle, as well as Oracle PL/SQL.
Must be conversant with UNIX/Linux with UNIX scripting knowledge.
Knowledge of GIS tools/platforms including Oracle Spatial, , ESRI platform would be a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps tools including JIRA, Git/Stash, Jenkins would be a plus.
Knowledge of Javascript and Python would be a plus.
Position requires the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working as part of a team as well as independently
Ability to identify issues to leads and/or management while providing possible solutions
Responsible for defining, planning, and monitoring all application support activities for IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation, training, and script/code writing
Responsible for the set-up and repair of facility-based, end-user infrastructure and resolution of desktop incidents and requests reported by facility users to the service desk
Education and Experience:
BS in Computer Science preferred with min 5 years experience
Knowledge of telecommunications industry and networking technologies is required
