Job Description

ROLE : Lead Build and QA Engineer 

LOCATION : DURHAM, North Carolina

DURATION : 12 Months  

Rate :$40/hr C2C(Max)

JOB DESCRIPTION  :

Lead Build and QA Engineer

Leads Appliance and Cloud environment builds for CMS platforms, leads a team of 5 engineers

Manages multiple priorities, creates plans

Experience with software product build, install, upgrade processes and Sanity/QA testing on EM7, Splunk, Cisco Prime Performance, SNMP Servers, Syslog servers

EM7 and Splunk certifications required (one is a must)

Excellent troubleshooting skills required

Proven documentation skills required

Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues

Able to perform product builds, perform deployments and handle product release.

Understanding of the Release and Deployment Management process specified by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process at the Foundation level

Automation knowledge is preferred, to automate testing

Strong knowledge of Linux

Good understanding of Databases

Good understanding of Web servers, load balancers and high availability systems

Basic VMware/Virtualization understanding

Linux Networking understanding
