Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include developing internal and external web based .NET applications; and daily support and maintenance of existing web based applications.
The Web Developer has the opportunity to take responsibility for all phases of a development project and help formulate best practices. We develop in C# using Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015 (.NET 3.5/4.5), Team Foundation Server 2010 and SQL Server 2008 (or higher);
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with developing and maintaining web applications using Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015, ASP.NET/C#, JQuery, LINQ, AJAX, SQL Server 2008 or higher.
• Assist with developing and maintaining site page layout/user interface from design comps and wireframes to function across several web browsers and operating systems.
• Develop new functionalities in existing .NET internal and external –facing web application.
• Track, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Evaluate and prioritize development tasks for delivery to business in a professional and timely manner.
• Other technical tasks as needed for successful project completion.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years’ experience in web application development using ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, AJAX
• 8+ years’ experience working with SQL Server 2008 or higher versions including database design, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, JQUERY, Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of Responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience developing n-tier applications (UI, Business Logic Layer, and Data Access Layer).
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as SiteCore, SharePoint 2010/2013 is a plus.
• Experience with HTML5 and WCF is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment and meet aggressive timelines set by clients.
• Ability to work independently or minimal oversight and with a team on a project.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
