Job Description

Role : Java Developer

Location : Golden Valley, MN

Duration : 9 Months

Job Description-

Java Developer - 80/20 development vs support

Responsibilities:

o Participate in specification review, develop and test services for middleware to web services integration
o Analyze any testing or production defects and fix them.
o Provide Tier-3 production support.
o Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams
o Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions.
o Ability to solve complex production issues

Necessary skills:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
o 7+ years of experience as a Java Developer
o Development experience in an Eclipse based environment.
o 10+ years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle.


Optional (Nice to have) skills:
o US Citizenship Preferred
o Experience with Web Service Development.
o Experience with Spring framework.
o Familiarity with OSGI and Felix.
o Experience with XML and source control systems.
o Experience working with HTTP(s), MQ, DB and other related technologies.
o Familiarity with ANT or Maven.
o Familiarity with PKI.
o Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Strong communication skills.
o Strong time management skills.
