Position Description:
The business partner position will have a primary focus to serve as the point of contact for customer communication and issue resolution as well as accountability for all aspects of project delivery. The business partner follows the standards, methodologies, polices and processes established through the business partner and Project Management methodology. The business partner role requires an individual who has depth within several of the following disciplines; business process modeling, project management methodologies, information management, vendor performance, and bank operations.
Business partner will have primary focus on Swap Dealer registration. Client has launched Swap Dealer initiative and the initiative outlines an aggressive timeline that will require efficiency and will require new business requirements as it leverages existing knowledge, capabilities, and best practices from across the client platform to better serve customers and counterparties.
Required Knowledge/Skils:
2-3 Years of relevant experience in project management of business analysis.
Strong documentation, presentation and facilitation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience working with technical staff and business users at all levels of the organization
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Project Office, excel and other project management tools
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience in the field of computer science or business administration
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Banking Operations,
Global Markets and/or Investments Operations is preferred.
Knowledge of Swap Dealer Registration and CFTC regulations.
Knowledge with products such as FX, IRS, SWAPTIONS, REPO, MUST, CAP/FLOOR or experience with Back Office Summit system is also preferred.
Experience with analysis, process modeling, process design, suggesting and implementing process improvements Certification in Project Management - Project Management Institute (PMP or CAPM) or others, including but not limited to: International Institute of Learning (APMC), American Academy of Project Management Familiarity with financial services software of systems
Manages the day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
Reviews high level deliverables across projects
Minimizes high level scope and risk across projects
Experience with leading and/or managing is preferred. Investment experience is a plus.
CFTC regulation knowledge and experience in regulatory projects is preferred.
