Job Description-
One of our client in Nashville, TN a Sr. Database DBA / SQL DBA to join a team focused on big data and mission critical databases in an enterprise, team-focused environment.
Priorities of this 6-month contract include: supporting very high priority, client facing Tax Applications, writing T-SQL code, troubleshooting and debugging.
This DBA will be working independently with clients on production issues.

Applicants must have 7+ years of database administration with SQL Server, experience doing performance tuning and stored procedures, database upgrades, troubleshooting, T-SQL coding and exposure with SQL Server 2012.
·Writing and tuning T-SQL procedures and DTS/SSIS packages
·Experience in a 24/7/365, multi-tiered production environment with very large databases
·7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
·Strong understanding of database development, structures, theories, principles, and practices
·Solid understanding of high availability architectures such as Clustering and SAN
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills – effective negotiation and problem solving tactics crucial
