Job Description:
Required Skills- Local candidates only!
Extensive DB2 and mainframe experience is required
Experienced DB2 DBA on Mainframe, with 5+ years experience in DB2 z/OS product family installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Expert level exposure in :
o IBM DB2 through Ver. 11
o IBM QMF through Ver.11
o IBM performance and query monitor
o IBM Log Analyzer
o Familiarity with Serena Changeman
o DB2-Connect v9.5 and above
o IBM omegamondb2
o IBM omegamonmvs
o TSO
o ISPF
o Unix System Services
• Desired Proficiency in following tools/services/languages/software’s:
o REXX
o DYL
o JCL
o Cobol, CICS Cobol, Stored procedures
• Additional Experience Desired:
o Java
o Oracle Golden Gate
o Unix, Linux
• Strong troubleshooting and proactive analytical skills to ensure minimum downtime of production databases.
• DB2 database and SQL performance tuning expert
• Experience in Capacity Planning and DB Re-Org
• Understanding on industry best practices for DB2 including ETL tools and processes.
