Required Skill :

Python developer needed with strong back-end skills. This will be for all maintenance and enhancement projects. This team is still solely supporting maintenance and enhancement on infrastructure/systems for STB's (SET TOP BOXES)- application is used by all internal users -self-service configuring for managing hosts -back-end portion integrated other systems --hosts are Linux -must be able to develop on and have experience with Linux platforms

Contract from March to the end of the year- possible to go longer Hire off of 2 phone interviews- 2nd will be technical with an over the phone/WebExcoding test

One of our client is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a leading telecommunications company in their Reston Office. We are seeking a developer to assist with back end portion of application for managing configuration of in house developed host monitoring agent. Familiarity with Python and Linux and SQL desired.

• Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers.
• Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
• Oversees testing and develops fixes.
• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
