Job Description :
Required Skills- COBOL
Application Architect:
Banking is a major plus
Architect of the system – take high level direction – bridging over multiple channels/projects
SOA (service oriented architecture)
DB2 (or some other type of databases – SQL or Oracle)
Process flows – sit down and look at the processes that have been built and analyze how to improve this process
Needs to look at what is happening in the process and determine how to improve
Creating a lot of documents and then have them reviewed by management
Take a generic outline and implement an updated document for developers to build from
Candidate does not have to be local but needs to be onsite five days a week.
In order of priority.
1. Strong verbal communication skills.
2. Understanding of both distributed and mainframe platforms.
3. Strong problem solving skills.
4. Strong leadership skills (this is not a manager but I do need a leader).
5. Strong Visio or similar visualization tool for process diagrams and architectural diagrams.
6. Strong analytic skills specifically related to processing flows.
