Job Description :

Required Skills- InfoSphere, DataStage

Job Description- The Data Analyst will be responsible for working with the Wealth Management Data Quality Lead to gather business rule requirements and implement business rules and rule sets within the IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer tool. This position will also require in-depth SQL expertise to analyze and present data profiling results. A successful candidate will have:

* Hands on experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer creating business rules/rule sets and writing regular expressions

* Data analysis skills for interpreting and presenting business rule results

* SQL expertise

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Familiarity with the integration of the IBM InfoSphere tool suite (metadata, glossary, lineage, data quality)

* Ability to read information models (UML, data flows, data models)

* InfoSphere Governance Catalog experience is a plus

OTHER:

- Experience in finance is not necessary

- Communication skills are key, as this position is primarily on the business side

- This is a new project that will employ multiple technologies.

Has experience in conducting analysis with expertise in different business areas, application wide analysis and proposal of solutions. Assembles, analyzes, and represents customer business requirements. Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, recommends alternative solutions, project strategy, and deliverable prioritization.

Responsible for high level implementation plans, data and process models, cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and return on investments. These resources are also able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD, and DRP sessions, etc. Business Analysts should also be able to perform as a team leader when necessary.
