Requirements:
*Work with established technical specifications to develop and deliver defined functionality under the supervision of an application Technical Lead.
*Understand Agile development practices and build / unit / system test application code.
*Support the changes/applications post implementation by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases as prescribed by management.
*The candidate should be able to interact effectively with project managers, developers, tech leads, technical operations, etc.
Required Skills
*Java 1.7, Oracle, Storm, Cassandra, REST, Perl and ShellScripting, JDBC, Tomcat or any application server.
*5+ years of Application Development Experience
Strong technical knowledge with 5 years experience in JAVA/J2EE and Spring.
*2+ Years of hands on experience working with DataStax toolsets (Cassandra) in a project environment.
Description:
*Responsible for successful delivery of applications like BCM, ExSight , GPP.
*Day to day interaction with the client mainly to gather and understand the requirements.
*Hands on coding in java, JDBC, Cassandra, Storm, Perl, Shellscript, Oracle.
*High level and detail design using the above mentioned technologies. *Production support of existing application. Supporting QA and UAT testing.
Qualifications
1) Expert/Hands-on in Java/J2ee (JMS), Web-services(REST-ful) development, design, architecture.---7-8 years
2) Comfortable in perl/shell scripting - 2-3years
3) Good in SQL/Oracle - 7-8 years
4) Knowledge of BigData (If possible Cassandra and Storm) - 1 year
5) Must have worked on at least one large scale project( team size-30-40) in all life cycle phases.
6) Must have good communication skills and should be able to interact with the client.
Preferred Skills:
*Knowledge of User Interface Development using Spring MVC and any major UI Framework is a big plus.
Can have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
